Details of Truck Engine Remanufacturing Process
Step 1: Core Receiving & Pre-Disassembly Inspection
Drain residual oil, coolant and fuel of incoming engine blocks. Record external defects, leakage positions and original failure symptoms, sort engine model and serial number to formulate targeted overhaul plans.
Step 2: Complete Layer-by-Layer Disassembly
Dismantle the engine from peripheral accessories to internal core parts following OEM sequence; classify, label and store all bolts, gaskets and small components separately to avoid assembly errors.
Step 3: Industrial Deep Cleaning & Carbon Removal
All metal parts go through high-temperature carbon baking, chemical degreasing, ultrasonic washing and sand blasting to eliminate carbon deposits, oil sludge and rust, exposing hidden wear and cracks.
Step 4: Nondestructive Flaw Detection & Dimensional Measurement
Conduct magnetic particle crack detection and precision size measurement on cylinder block, cylinder head, crankshaft, camshaft and connecting rods. Scrap unrepairable cracked or severely deformed components and replace with brand-new matching parts.
Step 5: Precision Machining Restoration
Carry out cylinder boring & honing, crankshaft journal grinding, connecting rod straightening, cylinder head surface milling and valve seat reaming to restore all dimensional tolerances to factory standards.
Step 6: Full Consumable & Seal Component Replacement
Renew all worn and sealing spare parts: piston ring groups, bearing bushes, all gaskets & oil seals, valve assemblies, injector nozzles, water/oil pumps, timing components and turbo sealing kits.
Step 7: Standard Torque Assembly & Clearance Calibration
Assemble components in OEM order with standard torque control; recheck bearing clearance, piston clearance and valve clearance before cylinder block closing.
Step 8: Static Pre-Bench Leakage & Circuit Test
Test water circuit tightness, oil circuit pressure sealing and fuel pipeline leak-free performance; calibrate all sensors and wiring to eliminate hidden leakage and electrical faults.
Step 9: Dynamometer Bench Load Performance Test
Simulate African heavy-load climbing conditions for long-duration variable load testing; calibrate torque, fuel consumption, idle stability and high-temperature power output, record all performance data into test reports.
Step 10: Finishing Anti-Corrosion Treatment & Final Delivery Inspection
Drain test medium, clean the whole engine, spray anti-rust coating and finish painting. Complete final appearance and accessory inspection, archive all test records into English remanufacturing files before delivery.
